What We Do
Merbaum & Becker, P.C. is a law firm located in Alpharetta, Fulton County, Georgia. Our firm represents clients in matters relating to construction law, commercial and individual collections, landlord-tenant issues, business law, and civil litigation. We also provide representation relating to debt collection defense and negotiation, HOA and Condo Association assessment collection and negotiations with banks relating to short sales or loan repayment. We provide representation to homeowners facing confirmation actions after foreclosure. We are experienced in real estate litigation relating to property disputes, nuisance, trespass, property damage and claims arising out of the purchase and sale of real estate.
Our Partners

David J. Merbaum was born in Jamaica, Queens, New York. He received his bachelors degree in history from Queens College, and graduated from Emory University School of Law in May 1988. After starting as an associate with a small firm who represented surety companies and contractors, he started his own firm in 1996. He has served as lead counsel on many jury and bench trials and well as numerous arbitration proceedings.
Andrew J. Becker was born in Massachusetts. He received his bachelors degrees in both History and Computer Science from Brandeis University and a Master of Arts in European History from Brandeis. He later graduated from Emory University School of Law. After joining the firm in 2005, he was named partner in 2016. His areas of expertise include construction law, business litigation, landlord/tenant, and civil appeals.
