Andrew J. Becker has been a partner at Merbaum & Becker, P.C. since 2016. Previously, Andrew was an associate at the Merbaum Law Group which changed its name to reflect his new position.

Andrew is originally from Reading, Massachusetts, and moved to Georga in 2002 to attend Emory University School of Law.  Prior to attending law school, Andrew attended Brandeis University in Massachusetts, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Computer Science. He also obtained a Master of Arts Degree in European Comparative History from Brandeis University, where his research focused on Spanish medieval history.

Andrew is equally experienced with transactional matters and litigation.  On the transactional side, his practice includes reviewing and drafting contracts and leases, advising clients on risk avoidance/mitigation, mergers and acquisitions, franchise agreements and disputes, and corporate governance.  He frequently gives seminars for his clients on construction related issues, including project management, best practices, and contract administration.  Andrew has also litigated and arbitrated all manner of business, construction, and landlord/tenant disputes.

Andrew has been married to his wife Rebecca since 2016 and has two young children who keep him constantly busy.  In his spare time, he enjoys cooking and acting as a BBQ judge at KCBS events.
